Bubble

Problem Statement

Local residents often feel isolated and disconnected when moving to a new town due to limited community engagement and social opportunities. Bubble aims to reconnect individuals by providing meaningful local social interactions and easily accessible community resources.

User Research

We interviewed eight individuals from various age groups and cultural backgrounds who recently moved to new areas. Key insights include the importance of shared interests to foster community connections, diverse needs across different age groups, language as a significant barrier, and the necessity of providing broad yet meaningful local interactions to build inclusive, lasting community engagement.

Based on that, we created our persona.

Design Solution

Based on our research, we created Bubble.
Bubble provides an inclusive, localized social networking experience, designed to seamlessly connect residents through shared interests, personalized recommendations, and accessible community interactions.

Design Process

Bubble’s design system features playful shapes, welcoming colors, friendly typography, and nostalgic and skeuomorphism UI components to create an approachable and community-focused experience.
